Both Rangers and Celtic were in Europa League action this evening, and the Gers and the Hoops both won.
While Lennon’s side won 2-1 against Lazio in Rome, Gerrard’s team got the better of FC Porto at Ibrox in Glasgow.
Celtic have booked their place in the knockout rounds of the Europa League, while Rangers have enhanced their chances of doing just that.
Tottenham legend Lineker has given his take on the success for Rangers and Celtic, and while he has praised the Old Firm clubs, he has joked that they will be delighted for each other.
Given the intensive rivalry between Rangers and Celtic, one suspects that the two clubs will not be delighted for each other.
