Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s win against Burnley this afternoon.
Newcastle have got the better of Burnley 2-1 away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League.
Matej Vydra put the Clarets in the lead in the 18th minute, but second-half goals from Jacob Murphy and Allan Saint-Maximin saw the Magpies pick up all three points from the game.
The result means that Newcastle are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 32 points from 31 games.
Steve Bruce’s side are now six points above third-from-bottom Fulham, who have played 32 games.
The win is massive for Newcastle, who have enhanced their chances of staying in the Premier League, while Fulham are now facing a massive struggle in their quest to avoid the dreaded drop.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win and has made a joke about Newcastle legend Alan Shearer, who works with him for BBC Sport.
Shearer himself has revelled in the win for Newcastle on Twitter, as shown below.
