Gary Lineker reacts to Leicester City win, Chris Sutton says ace was ‘unplayable’

Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Leicester City’s win against Leeds United on Monday evening.

The former Leicester striker is delighted at the 4-1 victory for Brendan Rodgers’s side in the Premier League game at Elland Road.

Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy scored a goal each, while Youri Tielemans found the back of the net twice.

Lineker was very impressed by the display of Leicester, while former Chelsea and Celtic striker Chris Sutton has raved about Vardy on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Monday evening, hosts Leeds had 68% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Leicester had 32% of the possession, took 10 shots of which eight were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

According to WhoScored, Vardy took four shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 50%, won one header, took 30 touches, attempted three dribbles, and made one clearance.

The win against Leeds means that Leicester are now second in the Premier League table with 15 points from seven matches.
