Gary Lineker reacts to Arsenal win against Sporting Lisbon

Arsenal won against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday.

Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Arsenal’s win against Sporting Lisbon.

Arsenal got the better of Sporting 1-0 away from home in the Europa League Group E on Thursday evening.

Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the match in the 77th minute, as Unai Emery’s side made it 11 wins in a row in all competitions.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with how Emery has made such an impact so quickly at Arsenal.

Emery was appointed the Arsenal manager in the summer following the departure of Arsene Wenger at the end of last season.

The former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain manager has been superb so far, with the Gunners going from strength to strength in recent weeks.

While it is hard to see Arsenal challenge the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season, the North London outfit will certainly fancy their chances of finishing in the Champions League places this season.
