Arsenal have won against Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has given his take on Twitter on the penalty decision that went in favour of Arsenal against Manchester United.
Arsenal have won 2-0 against United at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League.
The Gunners scored their second goal via a penalty, after Fred was adjudged to have committed a foul on Alexandre Lacazette inside the Red Devils’ box.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not make any mistake in converting the penalty, as the Gunners won the match 2-0 and picked up all three points from the encounter.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker does not believe that it was a penalty, and ex-Manchester City and Leeds United right-back Danny Mills has also suggested that it was a harsh decision.
Lineker has given his take on the win for Arsenal against the Red Devils as well.
Mills told BBC Sport: “We’re a long way away from this. But I’m not sure it’s a penalty. I don’t think there’s enough contact.”
The win against United means that Arsenal are now fourth in the Premier League table with 60 points from 30 matches.
The Gunners are just a point behind fourth-placed and bitter North London rivals Tottenham and two points ahead of fifth-placed United.
