West Ham United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 today.

Tottenham were deservedly beaten by a well-drilled West Ham side today.

Spurs entered the game having won their first four games in all competitions at their new home, whilst the Hammers were in the midst of a woeful run of form, having taken just one point from their last four Premier League games.

West Ham seemed to have far more energy than Tottenham today, however, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men seemed to have one eye on their Champions League clash with Ajax on Tuesday night.

The north London outfit remain in third position in the table, but Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United can all close the gap on Pochettino’s side with wins in their respective games tomorrow.

West Ham will be delighted with their victory today, as they became the first team to win at Tottenham’s new home – something that their fans will always remember.
