Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he was impressed with Pep Guardiola’s press conference earlier today.
Guardiola held his first press conference as a Manchester City manager earlier today.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager faced a number of questions this afternoon, as detailedin The Mirror.
Among the questions that Guardiola faced were his rivalry with newly-appointed Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, potential signings in the summer transfer window and the fitness of Vincent Kompany.

It was quite an interesting press conference, and former Tottenham and Leicester City striker Lineker was seemingly impressed.

Guardiola is one of the best football managers in the world, and City fans should be excited and optimistic about the season ahead.
Under the former Barcelona boss, the Citizens are expected to fight for the Premier League title next season.
City will also be expected to compete for the Champions League trophy during the 2016-17 campaign.
It will not be easy for the Citizens in the Premier League, though, as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United and perhaps even Liverpool will be have an eye on the title.
