Marcus Rashford’s performance for Manchester United against Celta de Vigo in the Europa League impressed Gary Lineker.
Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Marcus Rashford’s performance for Manchester United on Thursday evening.
Rashford featured for United in the Europa League semi-final first-leg tie against Celta de Vigo away from home at the Balaidos.
The 19-year-old forward started the game and played for 80 minutes, as the Red Devils won 1-0. The England international scored the only goal of the match midway through the second half with a superb free kick.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Rashford.
Rashford is one of the best young forwards in entire Europe and could prove to be one of the best players in United history in the coming years.
The teenager is hugely talent and has a lot of potential, and if he gets to play regularly, then he is only going to improve.
The 19-year-old scored five goals and created 19 chances in 29 Premier League appearances for United so far this season.
