Stoke City won against Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Joe Allen’s performance for Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
Allen scored both goals for Stoke as they won 2-0 against Sunderland at the Bet365 Stadium in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old former Liverpool midfielder found the net first in the eighth minute and then again in first-half injury time.
Former Tottenham and Leicester City striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the goalscoring heroics of Allen.


Allen joined Stoke from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The Wales international midfielder has established himself as a key player for the Potters.
The former Swansea City midfielder has scored four goals and created 11 chances in eight Premier League appearances for Stoke so far this season.
Stoke are third from bottom in the league table at the moment with six points from eight matches.
Mark Hughes’s side will return to action next weekend when they take on Hull City away from home at the KCOM Stadium in the Premier League.
