Former star praised Tottenham Hotspur striker.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane scores their first goal
Former England striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter to praise Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane during his performance against Sunderland.
Kane netted the opening goal midway through the second half from close range, past a previously resilient Jordan Pickford.

Lineker pointed out that despite a slow start to the season, Kane’s quality and class is ultimately telling.
Kane’s only goal this season previously came in the previous weekend’s 4-0 win against Stoke City.
Spurs fans were not overly concerned about the striker, given that last season he also struggled for goals early on, and ended the campaign by winning the Golden Boot. Spurs also have better cover now, with striker Vincent Janssen signed in the summer.

Kane has two in his last two league games, although drew a blank in midweek in the 2-1 Champions League defeat to AS Monaco.
The bad news for Kane was that he limped off late in the game after picking up an ankle injury, taken off on a stretcher.
