Arsenal completed a deal to sign Granit Xhaka earlier today.

Gary Lineker has posted a joke on social media site Twitter, after Granit Xhaka completed a move to Arsenal earlier today.
Xhaka completed a move to the Gunners this afternoon, becoming the North London side’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Swiss international joins Arsene Wenger’s men from Borussia Monchengladbach, and he is expected to play a key role next term.
Xhaka should add power and control to Arsenal’s midfield ranks, as Wenger bolsters his options.
Xhaka will provide strong competition for the likes of Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla and Francois Coquelin for a place in Arsenal’s starting line up.

The 23-year-old made 134 appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach during his four year stay with the club. Prior to that, Xhaka had begun his career at Basel.
It is believed that Arsenal beat off competition from a range of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, to sign the central midfielder.
Xhaka’s summer will now be spent at Euro 2016 with Switzerland, before his full concentration will be on impressing at the Emirates Stadium.
