Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United scoring a late winner against Fulham at St. James’ Park this afternoon.
Newcastle have got the better of Fulham 1-0 at home in the Premier League today.
Alexander Isak scored the only goal of the match in the 89th minute from close range.
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic looked to have given the London club the lead against his former club, but his spot-kick was ruled out because he accidentally kicked the ball on to his standing foot when he slipped.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker Lineker was following the match, and this was his reaction:

Title challenge
Fulham will be disappointed that they could not pick up even a point at St. James’ Park, but Newcastle United will be pleased that they got the three points in the end.
The victory has enhanced the Magpies’ chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
And maybe, just maybe, Newcastle could challenge for the Premier League title as well.
Eddie Howe’s side are now third in the Premier League League table with 38 points from 19 matches.
Newcastle are six points behind leaders Arsenal, who have played 17 games, and a point behind defending champions and second-placed Manchester City, who have played 18 games.
