Liverpool have reached the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League last 16 with a crushing win over Spartak Moscow.
The Reds were 3-0 up at half-time as they were away to Sevilla in the previous group game, but there was no second half collapse here.
Jurgen Klopp’s side ramped up the pressure in the second half, showing why they are one of the most dangerous teams in Europe.

Liverpool’s performance attracted the attention of former footballer Gary Lineker, the host of Champions League broadcaster BT Sport.
He took to Twitter several times to rave about Liverpool’s relentless display.
Liverpool may have their defensive flaws, but their attack is up there to be reckoned with as the very best in Europe, and they are now proving it.
If they can use the January transfer window wisely to strengthen in defence then they could be in wit a real chance of winning the trophy… for a staggering sixth time.
