West Ham United currently have picked up just 12 points from 12 games in the Premier League.

Ex-Spurs player Gary Lineker looks on prior to the Barclays Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at White Hart Lane on April 10, 2016 in London, England.

Gary Lineker has predicted on Match of the Day, which was broadcast on BBC One on 10th November, that West Ham United to move up the Premier League table.

West Ham have made a slow start to the campaign, and only picked up 12 points from their first 12 games.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side could only pick up a 1-1 draw against struggling Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

And Lineker said: “They spent a lot of money you would expect them to [improve]. They have got a decent manager too.”

Pellegrini has actually come under some pressure, following West Ham’s underwhelming start.

The Hammers seem to be performing below expectations, with improvements needing to be made.

West Ham do have an inviting run of fixtures in their schedule coming up, with Pellegrini’s side having plenty of chances to take points.

The Hammers take on Manchester City when they return to action after the international break, but once they take on Pep Guardiola’s side they face a number of teams in the bottom half of the Premier League.
