Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker took to Twitter as Romelu Lukaku ended his 13 league game goalscoring drought for Everton with a clinical hat-trick in the 3-0 victory over Sunderland.
The former Everton striker tweeted soon after Lukaku headed the Toffees in front at the Stadium of Light just before the hour mark.

And the former England international was proved exactly right as Lukaku proceeded to score two more in quick succession to claim his first Premier League hat-trick for the club.
Lukaku’s quickfire treble were his first Premier League goals for the Toffees since early March but a brace for Belgium during the international break last week seems to have given the 23-year-old confidence as now he’ll be hoping to add to his league tally next week at home to Middlesbrough.
