Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to share his admiration of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.
The former Tottenham midfielder was impressed with the performance of Alli for Spurs against Newcastle United in the Premier League at the weekend.
The England international scored Spurs’ opening goal of the Premier League game at St. James’ Park on Sunday afternoon just past the hour mark.
The overall performance of the 21-year-old midfielder against Rafael Benitez’s side was quite encouraging, as the North London outfit won 2-0.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker was following the game, and he was impressed with Alli.

Meanwhile, former Wales international striker Iwan Roberts has praised Tottenham left-back Ben Davies on Twitter.
Davies featured for Spurs against Newcastle away from home at St. James’ Park at the weekend in the absence of Danny Rose, who is injured at the moment.
England international defender Rose is the first-choice left-back at Spurs, but the 24-year-old Wales international played well in his place, leading Roberts to sing his praises on Twitter.
