James Maddison scored for Leicester City against Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Gary Lineker has praised Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison on Twitter for his performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.
The former Tottenham and Leicester striker was impressed with the display produced by the 22-year-old attacking midfielder in the Foxes’ 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
Maddison scored the winner for Leicester in the 85th minute when he found the target with a well-drilled low effort.
According to WhoScored, the Englishman took four shots, had a pass accuracy of 80%, made one tackle, attempted four dribbles, and played two key passes.
Future Tottenham Hotspur player?
Some Tottenham fans were impressed with Maddison’s performance against Mauricio Pochettino’s side and want him signed, as reported on HITC Sport on Sunday.
Interestingly, a report in talkSPORT this week has claimed that Tottenham and Manchester United are “huge admirers” of the youngster.
Given the progress and development of Maddison in recent years, it will not come as a surprise to anyone if he does end up at Tottenham soon.
