Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has praised Liverpool attacking midfielder Adam Lallana on social networking site Twitter.
Lineker was impressed with the performance of Lallana in the Premier League game against Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The England international featured in the league match for the Reds against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The 28-year-old started the game and played for 76 minutes, as Liverpool won 4-3.
The former Southampton star, who can also play as a winger, scored one goal and created three chances against Arsenal.
Former Tottenham and Leicester City striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with Lallana’s goal and work ethic.

Lallana joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer of 2014. As reported by BBC Sport and The Guardian at the time, the Reds had to pay the Saints a transfer fee of £25 million in order to secure the services of the Englishman.
The attacker scored five goals and created 32 chances in 27 Premier League appearances for Liverpool during the 2014-15 season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Lallana scored four goals and created 49 chances in 30 league matches for the Reds.
