Chelsea are reportedly interested in West Ham United’s Andy Carroll, Stoke City’s Peter Crouch and Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke.

Gary Lineker took to Twitter today, and posted a hilarious tweet in response to Chelsea’s recent interest in signing Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch and Christian Benteke.
Antonio Conte was reportedly keen on bringing Hammers ace Andy Carroll to Stamford Bridge, according to BBC Sport, before the 29-year-old was ruled out for around a month with an ankle injury.
The Italian has now allegedly turned his attention to Stoke City’s Peter Crouch and Crystal Palace front-man Christian Benteke, according to the Daily Mail, as he looks to bolster his attacking ranks.

Unsurprisingly, reports linking Chelsea with moves for the three strikers have not been met with much enthusiasm from the club’s fans.
Lineker is obviously in shock himself, and took to social media network Twitter, delivering his hilarious verdict on the west London outfit’s reported pursuit of the three target men:

Whether Chelsea actually end up singing any of the players mentioned remains to be seen, but Conte would surely be better served in targeting a more technically gifted, pacey forward, especially with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seemingly on the market and available.
