Gary Lineker has raved about reported Liverpool target Pedri on Twitter.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker was impressed by the performance of Pedri, linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, during Spain’s win against Croatia this evening.
Lineker cannot believe that Barcelona central midfielder Pedri is only 18, as Spain got through to the quarter-finals at Euro 2020.
The Mirror reported in April that Liverpool want to sign Pedri and have already made contact with the 18-year-old’s agents.
However, Barcelona do not want to sell the Spain international, who has a release clause of £70 million.
Yet another good performance
Pedri played well for Barcelona last season and established himself as a big player in Ronald Koeman’s side.
The teenager has been one of the best midfielders at the European Championship this summer.
Pedri had yet another good game for Spain.

The central midfielder pulled the strings in the middle of the park, showed his passing range, and was brilliant to watch.
The teenager played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 89.2%, won one header, took 79 touches, attempted one dribble, made one tackle, and put in one cross.
Barcelona are unlikely to sell Pedri this summer, but if his performances at the Euros are anything to go by, then it is clear that he will be a brilliant signing for Liverpool.
