Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in their most recent outing.
Gary Linker has labelled Tottenham Hotspur’s performance against Liverpool a ‘shambles’ on Match of the Day, which was broadcast on 11th February on BBC One.
Tottenham lost 2-0 to Liverpool an Anfield in their most recent outing, and they rarely got into the match.
Sadio Mane scored two first-half goals, as Liverpool picked up a comfortable three points against Spurs.
Pochettino’s side have only won once in 15 away games against the current top six, since the Argentine has been in charge.

And Lineker claims that unless Tottenham start turning their form against their fellow Champions League contenders away from White Hart Lane around, they will struggle to achieve their aims.
“We don’t usually say this, because they’re usually a very solid outfit – but Spurs were a bit of a shambles,” Lineker said.
“Spurs’ away record agains the current top six doesn’t make good reading. They’ve got to turn that around.”

Tottenham are currently in second place in the Premier League table, but they have a number of teams in with a shout of catching them.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all within touching distance of Spurs, meaning the pressure is on Pochettino’s side to get back to winning ways quickly.
Tottenham’s next Premier League match comes against Stoke City in two weekends’ time.
