Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
The former Tottenham striker was impressed with the performance of the 28-year-old for Arsenal against Manchester City in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Sanchez, who can also operate as a winger, started the semi-final tie at the Wembley Stadium in London and played for the entire 120 minutes.
The Chile international scored for the Gunners in the 101st minute as Arsenal won the tie 2-1 to progress to the final.
Tottenham legend Lineker was following the game, and he was impressed with the performance of Sanchez.
Sanchez is one of the best players in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Arsenal team.
The former Barcelona star has scored 19 goals and created 72 chances in 31 league matches for the Gunners so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Sanchez scored 13 goals and created 62 chances in 30 Premier League appearances for the North London outfit.
