Gary Lineker was compelled to tweet after watching Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s post match interview yesterday.

Interesting watch

After Liverpool and Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw, Klopp was interviewed by Sky Sports about the contest.

The Liverpool boss gave a level of tactical insight which he doesn’t always opt to give.

Klopp freely discussed how City had hurt Liverpool so badly in the first-half and how he set about making changes to combat that in the second.

And Lineker admitted that he could listen to Klopp speak for hours, as he finds him so interesting.

Huge praise

Klopp deserved great praise, not just for his interviewing skills, but also for his tactical acumen yesterday.

Liverpool were thoroughly outplayed in the first-half of their game against City, but responded in kind with a brilliant performance in the second.

The Reds ultimately may consider themselves slightly frustrated not to grab all three points, as they had the lead twice, but the draw did seem like the most fair result.

Liverpool now maintain their one point advantage over City, and their performances this season are certainly suggesting that they could really challenge for the title again, if they are able to keep everyone fit.
