Everton and Manchester United agreed a deal for Romelu Lukaku yesterday, according to reports.
Gary Lineker has had his say on Everton forward Romelu Lukaku’s proposed move to Manchester United.
United swooped to sign Lukaku yesterday, leaving Chelsea stunned.
Chelsea had put Lukaku at the top of their transfer wishlist, according to Daily Mail, but look to have lost out for the Belgian international.
And Lineker claims that Lukaku must have made United his first choice all along.
Lukaku was Everton’s main source of goals last season, and he could be difficult to replace for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Lukaku netted 25 goals in the Premier League last term, and no other Toffees player was able to find the back of the net more than five times.
Everton are working hard to find a replacement striker though, with a number of new faces already arriving at Goodison Park this summer.
