The BT Sport pundit saw the Premier League side reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday.

On Wednesday night, Liverpool stormed into the quarter-finals of the Champions League thanks to a superb 3-1 victory at Bayern Munich.
The Reds drew 0-0 at Anfield in the first leg against Niko Kovac’s side and the pressure was on them to deliver at the cauldron that is the Allianz Arena.
Deliver they did, drawing first blood on 26 minutes when Sadio Mane brought down Virgil van Dijk’s deliver before firing into an empty net after Manuel Neuer had rushed from his goalline.
Bayern pulled one back when Joel Matip turned into his own net from close range but, in the second half, Van Dijk headed home James Milner’s corner to give the visitors the advantage.
Liverpool finished off their opponents six minutes from time when Mane scored his 10th goal from as many games, a deft header which left Neuer with no chance.
Following the historic result, pundit Gary Lineker took to Twitter to give his thoughts:
Some of the Anfield faithful had their say in response:
The draw for the quarter-finals, which also features Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Manchester United, will take place in Nyon on Friday 15 March at 11am GMT, and the semi-final draw will then take place immediately afterwards.
