Gary Lineker has paid tribute to Tottenham Hotspur and England hitman Harry Kane on Twitter.
Kane scored his 50th international goal on Tuesday night as the Three Lions secured a hard-fought draw away to Germany.
The Tottenham marksman reached the half century from the penalty spot to move three goals behind Wayne Rooney as his country’s most prolific striker of all time.
The Spurs attacker has already beaten Lineker’s record of 48 and here’s how the Match of the Day presenter reacted to his strike on Tuesday:

Not only is Kane destined to destroy Rooney’s record in terms of total, but he’ll do it in far fewer appearances.
The Manchester United icon netted 53 goals in 120 England appearances, whereas the Tottenham star has reached the 50 mark in only 71 Three Lions outings.
We’re looking at someone who’s going to set the bar insanely high for the next player and, frighteningly, Kane is still only 28.
There’s really no telling what sort of record he’s going to leave when all is said and done.
And Lineker is right – it’s a ‘fabulous achievement’.
