Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to applaud Mark Noble, after the West Ham man was seen doing something admirable in Lyon.
What’s the story?
Well, after West Ham recorded an emphatic 4-1 win over Lyon across two legs of the Europa League Quarter-Final, the away dressing room understandably became a bit messy inside the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
Before the east Londoners left, Noble decided to sweep the dressing room floor and tidy things up a bit, showing respect to the French side.
Apparently, the 34-year-old does this after every away game, which is fantastic to hear.
You can see Lineker applaud Noble’s actions – through the use of emojis – below.
The West Ham captain even once told Rio Ferdinand that the younger players at West Ham now clean the dressing room as well, after they spotted him doing it.
Mark Noble ending West Ham career in a special way

As you may have heard, Noble has decided to hang up his boots at the end of the season, and move into a non-playing role at West Ham.
So, if he remains true to his word and this is his final season as a West Ham player, what a special one it’s turning out to be.
The Hammers are in their first European Semi-Final since 1976, and would win a place in the Champions League if they went all the way.

After racking up 545 appearances for West Ham in total, there are now just six Premier League games, and two – potentially three – European games left for Noble.
After everything he’s done for the Irons, the final months of his playing career deserve to be memorable ones.
