Christian Eriksen’s goal in the 47th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at the Wembley Stadium in London.
It was Spurs’ first Premier League victory at Wembley, and Tottenham legend Lineker has stated on Twitter that there will be no stopping Mauricio Pochettino’s side now.
Former Tottenham midfielder Micky Hazard was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
Tottenham’s performance against Bournemouth was not exactly great, but the North London outfit deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
The win keeps Spurs in the Premier League title race and will also boost their confidence ahead of next week’s Champions League match against Real Madrid.
The North London outfit do have the quality to pick up at least a point against Madrid.
