Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s performance for England impressed Manchester United defender Luke Shaw and Gary Lineker.

Jordan Pickford was superb for England against Sweden on Saturday, and Gary Lineker and Manchester United defender Luke Shaw were hugely impressed with the Everton defender.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker Lineker and United left-back Shaw have praised Pickford on social networking site Twitter for the saves he made for England against Sweden in their World Cup quarter-final tie on Saturday.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper made some superb saves, as the Three Lions won 2-0 to book their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Former England international striker Lineker was blown away by the performance of the 24-year-old – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – and so was 22-year-old United and England international left-back Shaw.
Pickford is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and the former Sunderland star’s performances for England at the World Cup in Russia so far have been superb.
England will need two more great displays from the Everton custodian to win the World Cup.
