Everton were beaten 4-1 by Southampton in yet another humiliating defeat.

Joey Barton and Gary Lineker have both reacted negatively to Everton’s humiliating defeat against Southampton at St. Mary’s.
Everton’s woeful form continued on the south coast, as they lost 4-1 to Manuel Pellegrino’s side.
And Barton, who has been a huge critic of David Unsworth, continued to criticise the temporary Everton boss on social media website Twitter.
Unsworth had held hopes of landing the Everton job on a permanent basis, but his chances are surely over after the defeat.
It has now been almost a month since Ronald Koeman was sacked by the Merseyside club, and the uncertainty over their managerial situation has not helped the Toffees’ form.
Gary Lineker has now urged Everton to appoint a new manager before it is too late.
Everton have now conceded 28 goals in 13 Premier League matches, and sit in 16th place in the table.
The Toffees’ next match comes against West Ham United in midweek, and they will surely want a new permanent manager in place for that fixture.
