Gary Lineker and David Seaman have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United staying in the Premier League at the expense of Burnley.

Leeds have survived in the Premier League on the final day of the season.

The West Yorkshire club got the better of Brentford 2-1 away from home on Sunday.

Burnley went down 2-1 to Newcastle United at Turf Moor today.

Leeds have ended the season in 17th place with 38 points from 38 games.

Burnley finished the season on 35 points.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker and MOTD pundit Lineker and ex-Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman seem pleased that Leeds have retained their Premier League status for next season.

Leeds United survive in Premier League

In our opinion, Leeds United fans and players should be proud of what they have just achieved.

Leeds started the final day of the season in the bottom three and were not expected to win against Brentford.

Yet, they won and how!

It was a disappointing campaign overall for Leeds, but now that the team have survived, they can start planning for next season.
