Tottenham Hotspur may need a result on the final day of the season to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Gary Lineker and Danny Murphy have expressed their ‘surprise’ at Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son after his team suffered a 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth.
Just before the break, Son pushed Jefferson Lemar to the ground and he was given a straight red by referee Craig Pawson.
Speaking to Match of the Day on BBC One (04/05/2019 at 10:20 pm), Lineker and Murphy spoke about Son’s ‘bizarre’ behaviour.
“They had two red cards, I don’t think they can argue against either of them,” Lineker said on Match of the Day.
Murphy responded: “I don’t think they can argue. Ill-discipline. Silly decisions. Very un-Tottenham like.”
Lineker then added: “Especially Son, really surprising.”
Murphy then stated: “Unbelievable from this guy. He’s usually calm, plays with a smile on his face, absolute bizarre behaviour. Lemar doesn’t do him any favours.”

South Korea international Son is usually seen as the calm character amongst the group and it was out of character for him to react to Lemar.
Nonetheless, it was a costly defeat for Spurs, who conceded a stoppage-time header to former Chelsea man Nathan Ake.
Given the fact that Mauricio Pochettino’s side were down to nine men for most of the second half, his team nearly produced a brilliant defensive performance.
But now, they will go into the last day of the Premier League season with their top-four hopes still in their hands and without the suspended Son.
