Crystal Palace secured safety for another season after winning 4-0 against Hull City at Selhurst Park in a crucial Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
The big margin defeat means Hull City were relegated from the Premier League with one game to go. They will join Sunderland and Middlesbrough in the Championship next season.
BBC pundit and former great England striker, Gary Lineker, tweeted after the match:
Chris Sutton, who was commentating on the game on BBC Sports, also took to Twitter to express his reaction:
Hull City got into back-foot in the opening few minutes, when Wilfried Zaha scored the opening goal for the Eagles.
Christian Benteke doubled the lead for Palace, while a late penalty from Luka Milivojevic and substitute Patrick van Aanholt completed the demolition job.

Hull City had 70% ball possession during the match and earned seven corners, stats courtesy BBC Sport, but they failed to register a single shot on target.
The victory is Crystal Palace’s joint-biggest winning margin in Premier League history, alongside the 5-1 win against Newcastle in 2015.
The result also means Swansea City narrowly escaped the drop as well.
Sky Sports pundit, Paul Merson, predicted that whoever would score the first goal will win the tie. And he was vindicated.
