Newcastle conceded a late goal after striker Ayoze Perez poked the ball into his own net in the 86th minute as he tried to prevent Shinji Okazaki from scoring.

Leicester’s win was their third in a row, and they have moved to 8th in the Premier League.
Gary Lineker, one of England’s all-time greatest striker, said it was a “smashing win” for Leicester City, tagging Newcastle legend Alan Shearer in his tweet. The Magpies legend responded quickly, inviting a lot of response from football fans.
Shearer also sent a plea to Mike Ashley to sell the North East club as soon as possible and leave.
