Current Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Hooper and John Hartson both praised Celtic for their performance against Manchester City.

Former Celtic strikers John Hartson and Gary Hooper have both praised their old side’s efforts against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Celtic claimed a 3-3 draw with Pep Guardiola’s men yesterday, in what was a brilliant match at Parkhead.

The Bhoys had the lead three times in the contest, but City kept coming back at them.
And Hooper and Hartson both praised the quality of the match, and Celtic’s efforts throughout.
City went into the game on the back of 10 straight victories, and they were the favourites to win in Glasgow.
However, Celtic fans roared their team on to a result which was deserved for the standard of their performance.
The Bhoys pressed and unsettled City throughout, and Moussa Dembele’s brace, combined with Raheem Sterling’s own goal, saw them claim a point.
Celtic are now up and running in their Champions League group, and they look to be locked in a battle with Borussia Monchengladbach to claim third spot in the group.
