Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers sent Ryan Hardie out to loan to Livingston in the summer of 2018.

Hardie returned to Livingston on loan from Ibrox club Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old striker – who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Tony Macaroni Arena – has been playing well this campaign despite his injury issues.
The youngster has scored four goals in five Scottish Premiership appearances for Livingston so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Hardie was on target during Holt’s side 1-1 draw with Hibernian away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Holt told The Daily Record about Hardie’s future: “It’s four goals in three games and he is playing games. We won’t be sending him back. He is a massive asset.”

Livingston stay
With Umar Sadiq having gone back to AS Roma, Rangers do need to sign a striker in the January transfer window.
Recalling an in-form Hardie from his loan spell at Livingston will be a cheaper option for the Gers, but the Glasgow giants should allow the youngster to carry on playing regular first-team football which is only going to help him progress and develop.
