Livingston travel to Ibrox to take on McGregor and Rangers.

Livingston manager Gary Holt has been quoted by the Scotsman as heaping praise on Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor, but wants his newly-promoted side to test the veteran on Saturday at Ibrox.
The 36-year-old gained nation-wide applause for his unbelievable save against Israel in the UEFA Nations League that gave Scotland the last push required to gain promotion to League B.
After keeping a clean sheet against Albania, McGregor helped Scotland win 3-2 against Israel. But in the final minutes, QPR ace Tomer Hemed had an excellent chance to make it 3-3 – only for McGregor to produce a superb one-handed save.
Holt applauded McGregor for his save ahead of Saturday’s clash between Rangers and Livi at Ibrox, but he also wants his physical side to test the Ibrox icon in a bid to reproduce the same result that saw Livi win 1-0 in September.
“Allan has done that [save from Hemed’s shot] throughout his whole career,” Holt said. “I will be delighted if we get in the areas that allow us to test him enough. That’s what we want to do.
“We’re not going there to be lambs to the slaughter. We want to implement our game plan, score goals and win the game. We’re not going there for a point… we’re going for three.”

McGregor has been near-immaculate since rejoining Rangers in the summer from Hull City, keeping nine clean sheets in his 23 league and up outings – with only 20 goals flying past him. He was key to Rangers qualifying for the Europa League.
Rangers will be desperate to redevelop some momentum after the international break, as they sit just two points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in third place. The Hoops play Hamilton at lunchtime on Saturday, before Rangers play Livi.
