Aston Villa and Watford reportedly want Chelsea’s Gary Cahill.

According to La Gazette des Transferts, as relayed by The Sun and The Birmingham Mail, Villa in the Championship and Premier League club Watford are interested in signing Gahill at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old central defender is out of contract at Chelsea next summer, and Villa and Watford reportedly want to secure the services of the England international on a free transfer.
The Villans and the Hornets, though, may have received an unexpected boost, with the former Bolton Wanderers star suggesting that he could leave Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Cahill, who started his professional club football career at Bolton, is struggling for playing time at Chelsea at the moment.

The defender told The Mirror: “I don’t want to jump the gun but as things stand at this time, probably, yes [I might have to leave in January].”
Cahill added: “I haven’t spoken to the manager [about the situation] yet. I think we will speak soon, just to see where everything is and how the land lies.”
If Cahill decides to leave Chelsea in January, then Watford and Villa will have to pay a transfer fee, but it would be worth paying for a 32-year-old defender who is still going strong and has a fair few years left in him.
Cahill is a serial winner, having clinched the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League during his time at Chelsea so far.
