Liverpool star praised for performance in another Anfield win.

Virgil Van Dijk played a key role in Liverpool keeping a clean sheet at Anfield against Chelsea.
It was not just his immaculate defensive work which caught the eye.
Pundit Garth Crooks named Van Dijk in his team of the week for BBC Sport, again, and praised Van Dijk’s passing.
He even went as far as to compare the Dutchman to Italian legend Andrea Pirlo.
Crooks said: “Now this is getting ridiculous. Virgil van Dijk is now stroking balls to Mohamed Salah as if he’s Andrea Pirlo.
“Not only is Van Dijk running his back four like a military operation, he is also picking out match-winning passes almost at will. Is there anything this lad can’t do at the moment?”

Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Chelsea was a big moment for their title ambitions.
It was against the Blues where they faltered at home the last time they closed in on the title.
Van Dijk is key to their success and his confidence on the ball is demonstrative of how assured he feels within himself right now.
