Conor Coady was in action for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Crystal Palace in the Premier League this past weekend.

Coady featured for Wolves in their Premier League match against Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London this past Saturday.
The former Liverpool defender – who joined Wolves from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £2 million – started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Nuno’s side won 1-0.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion forward Crooks has included Coady in his BBC Premier League Team of the Week.
Crooks has also stated that the 25-year-old defender is the central pillar in the current Wolves team.
Crooks wrote about Coady on BBC Sport: “Why hasn’t this lad had an England call up? He has captained his country at almost every level, was outstanding for Wolves last season in their title winning year and has made the transition from Championship football into the Premier League like a duck to water.
“Against Crystal Palace Coady was outstanding and he remains the central pillar of a Wolves team who have raced to 15 points already this season with extraordinary competence.”

Brilliant start
Wolves won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season and are doing well in the Premier League at the moment.
Nuno’s side currently find themselves seventh in the Premier League table with 15 points from eight matches, just three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
