Tottenham Hotspur continue unbeaten in the Premier League in 2018.

Christian Eriksen inspired Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-1 win over Stoke City at the weekend.
Eriksen scored twice in the victory – although Harry Kane continues to campaign to be awarded the second).

Crooks rather outlandishly compared him to an ’emperor’, and was effusive in his praise of the Dane.
He said: “I could watch this lad play football all day. Christian Eriksen strolled around the Bet365 stadium like an emperor, head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch.
“If he wasn’t making runs into dangerous areas, he was wreaking havoc with his precise passes.”

Crooks was not so complimentary about Eriksen’s Tottenham teammate Hugo Lloris.
He hit out at the Frenchman, commenting: “To beat Stoke away from home after winning at Chelsea last weekend – and in light of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’ shambolic displays – speaks volumes about the team’s development.”
Lloris has had a few shaky moment this season going right back to August when he conceded a soft goal at Wembley against Chelsea.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has a big call ahead in a fortnight, when he must choose whether to select Lloris to start in the FA Cup semi-final, or stick with ‘cup goalkeeper’ Michel Vorm.
