Tottenham earned an easy victory at the weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-Min Son scored his first goals of the season in the win over Crystal Palace.
The South Korea international netted twice as Spurs eased to a 4-0 victory.
It was the perfect way to restart after the international break, and it steered Tottenham back in the right direction after a stuttering start to the season.
BBC pundit Garth Crooks named Son in his team of the week.
He said: “I can’t believe Son has not scored a hat-trick in the Premier League. If anyone deserves to have that statistic firmly emblazoned on his CV it should be the South Korea international.
“Son was electric against a Crystal Palace side who are blowing hot and cold these days and, against Spurs, were freezing.”
It is probably only a matter of time before Son does manage a hat-trick against somebody. For Tottenham’s sake, that would be welcomed sooner rather than later.
Son netted 20 goals in all competitions for Spurs last season, the second time in four seasons he has reached or surpassed this figure.
This season he is now up and running after missing two of Tottenham’s opening fixtures with suspension.
There is a lot of competition for places at Spurs, but Son is close to a must start.
