Everton managed to pick up a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Garth Crooks has told BBC Sport that Seamus Coleman was superb for Everton throughout the entirety of their match against Crystal Palace.
Coleman scored the winner as Everton picked up a narrow victory at Selhurst Park.
The Republic of Ireland international blasted the ball home from close range in the final stages of the encounter.
And Crooks said: “To be perfectly honest, Coleman was superb all afternoon. He was a constant menace down Crystal Palace’s left side and caused all sorts of problems for the Eagles.”
Coleman has become a major attacking weapon for Everton in recent times, and has contributed a fair number of goals this season.
The 28-year-old has netted four goals in 19 appearances so far this term, with the right-back a key member of Ronald Koeman’s first-team.
Everton’s victory over Palace has helped them to continue their fine run of recent form, which has lifted spirits around Goodison Park.
The Toffees are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches, and have moved into seventh place in the top flights standings.
Everton are next in action in a week’s time, when they take on Stoke City at the BET365 Stadium.
