Newcastle United lost to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League at the weekend.

Newcastle’s poor run of form in the Premier League continued on Saturday afternoon, as the Magpies lost 1-0 to Brighton at St. James’ Park.
Beram Kayal’s goal in the 29th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion forward Crooks has a warning for Benitez after fans left the stadium even before the match had finished.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “This could be the turning point for Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez. When Newcastle fans start streaming out of the stadium before the end of the game, the writing is on the wall.”

Tough times
The situation at Newcastle is die, with the team struggling at the moment and in clear danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Magpies are not scoring enough and are also conceding cheap goals, and Benitez has a tough task on his hands.
It could be a long and hard season for Newcastle, unless they invest in the January transfer window.
