Mamadou Sakho played well for Crystal Palace against Manchester United.

Sakho played well for Palace in their goalless draw with United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Crooks was impressed with the performance of the 28-year-old central defender and has included the former Liverpool star in his BBC Premier League Team of the Week.
The former Tottenham and West Brom forward has also urged the France international to maintain the level of performance he produced against United.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport about Sakho: “I’ve seen Mamadou Sakho have games that have had me hiding behind the sofa. He can be brilliant on his day but he can also be the master of disaster.
“Against United he was brilliant, showing composure and leadership in equal measure.
“I suggest Sakho remembers every second of his performance at Old Trafford and refuses to depart from the things that made him excellent on the day.
“It’s time he ironed out his calamities because there is an exceptional defender in there somewhere.”

Stats
Palace paid Liverpool £26 million in transfer fees, as reported by The Guardian, to sign Sakho on a permanent contact in the summer of 2017 after the defender spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Selhurst Park.
According to WhoScored, against United on Saturday, Sakho had a pass accuracy of 87.5%, won one header, made two interceptions and nine clearances, played one key pass, and attempts one dribble.
