Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has not made a single appearance in the Championship this season.

Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri is injured at the moment and will not feature in the club’s final Championship game of the season against Wigan Athletic away from home at the DW Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Silvestri is still recovering from an operation on his knee to remain ligament damage.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper has not made a single appearance in the Championship this season, having lost his place in the starting lineup to Robert Green.

The Italian has made four appearances in the League Cup and has played in two FA Cup ties for the Whites this campaign.
Leeds head coach Garry Monk has suggested that Silvestri could return to full fitness for pre-season training.
“I think at a push maybe he could have made the next couple of weeks but now, in this situation, it’s not worth the risk and it’s about making sure that everything heels properly,” Monk told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked if Silvestri would be fine to return for pre-season.
Leeds have lost their chance to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and will remain in the division for the 2017-18 campaign.
The West Yorkshire outfit will be hoping to end the season on a high by picking up maximum points against Wigan this weekend.
