Leeds United and Cardiff City go head-to-head this weekend.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk has been speaking about his Cardiff City counterpart Neil Warnock ahead of their weekend clash, with his comments published on the Whites’ official Twitter account.
Warnock took charge at Elland Road back in 2012 but he was sacked the following year after a run of poor results saw Leeds sitting just five points above the Championship’s relegation zone.

He is now in the hot seat at Cardiff and he will be keen to get one over his former side at Elland Road this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Monk said, “Neil Warnock is a very experienced manager; he has managed here before and we have to be ready on Saturday.”
They certainly do, with their 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield last time out sure to rankle with players and fans alike.

Despite that setback Leeds are still on course to finish in the top six and if they can return to the top flight it will be a huge moment in their history.
Warnock will be aiming to dent that hope, but Monk has other ideas…
