The Leeds United winger has only just returned from injury and should be focusing on his club commitments.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has been called up for Northern Ireland’s matches against Azerbaijan and Croatia despite missing the Whites’ last four league games due to injury.
Dallas tore his calf muscle during the last international break so it will be a bitter pill for Leeds boss Garry Monk to swallow if he heads back out for his country having only just returned to fitness.

In fact, such is the situation that Monk should put his foot down and refuse Northern Ireland’s request, instead ensuring Dallas remains in Yorkshire to fully recover and be ready for the challenges ahead.
Dallas is a vital player for his country but they should understand the need for his club to aid his recovery, monitoring him closely rather than sending him back out where he got injured in the first place.

Leeds are flying high right now but they will need as few setbacks as possible in the coming months to ensure they maintain their promotion push.
And while Dallas does now appear ready to return, easing him in slowly would be the smartest move for all concerned, not throwing him into an international double-header straight after his return to Championship action.
