Leeds United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Molineux in their latest outing.
Garry Monk has told BBC Radio Leeds that he encouraged his Leeds United players to show more confidence in the final third when taking his half-time team talk against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday.
Leeds won 1-0 at Molineux thanks to a Kemar Roofe strike in the second half, and Monk felt that the victory was deserved.
The 37-year-old boss always believed Leeds had a chance of beating Wolves, and correctly predicted that with greater precision in the final third they would break the deadlock.

“The first half was quite even,” Monk said. “I spoke to the players at half-time [and told them] if they showed a bit more quality with the ball we could do something here.
“We looked dangerous if we were going to break and for the first 20 minutes of the second half I thought they had real control of the game.”
Roofe’s goal was created by an excellent piece of skill from Hadi Sacko, who caused problems with his pace.

The strike was Roofe’s first for Leeds, following his arrival from Oxford United in the summer transfer window.
Leeds’ win has boosted them up to 10th in the Championship table, and to the verge of the play offs.
The Whites have won six of their last nine matches, and they appear to be going from strength to strength under Monk’s guidance.
Leeds are next in action in Tuesday in the EFL Cup against Norwich City.
