Liam Bridcutt has not played for Leeds United since September.
Garry Monk has told BBC Radio Leeds that he has been impressed by the way that Liam Bridcutt has come back into Leeds United training.
Bridcutt has been out since September with injury, but he has returned to full training recently.
The 27-year-old is still not yet fit to play a competitive match, but Monk says that he is encouraged with the way that Bridcutt has trained.

“He would have been out watching the players in his position, watching the team doing what they’ve been doing, and if you’ve got anything about you you want to be a part of that,” Monk said. “He’s come back with good determination, you can see that already he’s in the few days that he has been training.”
Leeds’ next match is against Brighton, but Monk has suggested that Bridcutt will not feature at the AMEX Stadium tomorrow.

When the former Sunderland man does make it back to full fitness, he faces a fight to win his place at Elland Road back.
Leeds have been in excellent form with Bridcutt on the sidelines, and they have climbed into the promotion race.
The Whites are currently in fourth place in the Championship table, and could move to within four points of the automatic promotion spaces with a victory over Brighton tomorrow.
